Understanding and Using Ruums

Ruums are a collaborative space for you and your team to manage your projects, workflows, and processes.


Main Features

Within a ruum, you'll find the following main features:

Canvas -  An interactive space for you to create and display a range of content. For more information about using your canvas, see: INSERT LINK.

Task List - A record of activities to be completed whilst working on this project, workflow, or process. For more information about using tasks, see: INSERT LINK.

Timeline - A calendar based overview of your tasks, presented in chronological order. You will often hear this referred to as a Gantt chart, too. For more information about using your timeline, see: INSERT LINK.

Kanban Board - A visual board helping you clearly define the status of your tasks and their respective progress in your overall project. For more information about using your Kanban board, see: INSERT LINK.  *Available for Professional and Enterprise users

Settings and Activities - These help you control who has access to your ruum, decide how and what content is displayed, and provide an overview of all communication within your ruum. For more information about your ruum settings and activities, see: INSERT LINK.

Creating and Managing Ruums

Ruums are created and managed within your Ruum lobby, accessed by clicking Home on your side panel

You can create two types of ruums:

Blank Ruum - This gives you access to a blank canvas, task list, and timeline. From here you can choose how your ruum looks and feels. INSERT LINK.

Ruum from Template - This allows you to create a new ruum from a predefined template . Predefined templates are based around well-defined use cases and provide you with suggested canvas sections, task lists, and timelines. These can be freely edited where necessary, giving you flexibility at all times.  INSERT LINK.
