To create a milestone directly on your canvas, click Insert - Milestone:
Alternatively, you can turn an existing task into a milestone by clicking Options - Turn into Milestone:
Once created, milestones have three statuses - Future, Missed, and Reached:
You can also create subtasks within the milestone, automatically aligning them. These can be created with full assignees, start and due dates, priorities, comments, and their own subtasks, too:
The milestone status will then be updated automatically once all subtasks aligned to that milestone are marked as ‘Done’:
