As tasks are integral to the success of all projects, you're able to create them in multiple places within your Ruum account.
Deleting an existing task, subtask, or milestone will remove it and its related tasks for all ruum or group participants.
You can turn a task into a milestone, or a milestone back into a task, at any time using the task management options.
When creating and editing a task in Ruum, you have a number of useful fields and options available to you.
Existing Tasks, Subtasks, and Milestones can be updated at any time by admins and editors. This includes edits, status updates, moving sections, and dates.
Kanban boards are a visual project management tool, helping you to manage the flow of your tasks through a project.
Your timeline provides a visual, gantt chart representation of all tasks within a ruum. This can be used to both view your progress and to edit existing tasks.
Available to Professional and Enterprise users, groups allow you to organize your related Ruums in a digital folder within your lobby.
Creating a blank Ruum gives you access to an empty canvas, task list, and timeline. From here you can choose how your Ruum looks and feels.
Ruum's predefined templates are based around well-defined use cases and provide you with suggested canvas sections, task lists, and timelines.
Labels are text-based tags that can be manually added to ruums and groups, helping you to quickly identify and filter your content.
You can generate, view, and print reports for individual Ruums you participate in. These reports are based on your status updates and tasks from that Ruum.
You can leave an individual Ruum or Group at any time, removing your access to that content. However there are important implications to note when doing this.
Depending on the permissions you hold within them, you can manage and edit existing Ruums and Groups from within your lobby.
Ruums are a collaborative space for you and your team to manage your projects, workflows, and processes.

Ruum or group admins can remove an existing team member at any time. This removes the team members access, with the content no longer appearing in their lobby.
With our team member permissions, you can define who has access to your Ruums and Groups and what actions they can perform once there.
With Ruum's team activity features, you can see both recent activities by team members and an overall record of all activities in a Ruum.
Ruum templates are a preset layout for your projects, allowing you to efficiently create new ruums without replicating previous work or configurations.
Section templates alllow you to create re-usable canvas sections for your Ruum account. These can then be added to existing ruums at any time.
You can create a template from an existing Ruum at any time. This saves your canvas, task list, timeline, and Kanban board to your templates library.
Ruum or section templates can be deleted at any time, removing them from your account only.
You can duplicate ruum or section templates within your account only at any time. This creates a copy of your canvas, tasks, timeline, and kanban board.
Once created, you can edit a ruum or section template at any time from your Ruum account.This updates the template for all team members who have access to it.
Once invited to a template, you can edit a team member's access and permissions within that template from the team members panel.
Inviting a team member to an existing template gives them permission based access to this template within their Ruum account.
Users on our Free and Professional plans can change their password at any time from their Profile Settings page.
Want to delete your Ruum account? That's a shame! If we can't change your mind here, we do allow you to delete your own account.
Editing your Ruum profile allows you to change your display name, email address, password, and notifications at any time.
As Ruum is a browser based application, you may wish to log out from your account occassionally. You can do this from the side panel.
Sent as emails, Ruum notifications alert you to important updates, keep you informed about team activities, and remind you of critical deadlines.
